Ben Wilson is the Director of CIRQA and our lead urban mobility consultant. He has over 15 years experience in the fields of road design, traffic engineering and transport planning. His experience working in academic, local government and private consulting environments provides him with a broad background in the planning and design of movement networks.

Ben has played a primary role in the delivery of many successful projects Australia wide including major retail developments, hospital upgrades, airport master planning, residential land divisions and major placemaking/streetscape upgrades.

Thomas Wilson joined CIRQA in February 2016 as a traffic and transport engineer. Prior to joining CIRQA, Thomas has worked in private traffic engineering consulting and gained experience in the planning, design and assessment of transport networks and development projects.

Thomas has five years’ experience in the fields of road design, traffic engineering and transport planning. He regularly provides advice to both private and public clients on a wide variety of projects. During his career, Thomas has provided advice on a number of major projects across Australia, including shopping centres, residential land divisions, multi-storey mixed use developments and more. He has particular expertise in the analysis of traffic impact associated with development projects and road and intersection analysis.

Senior Transport Planner | Cirqa Pty Ltd

Chris Bentick commenced his employment with CIRQA as a Senior Transport Planner in May 2022. He joins CIRQA with over 10 years’ experience in local government as a Transport Engineer at the City of Charles Sturt. He has also held previous roles in public transport (bus) service planning at Torrens Transit.

Chris has provided traffic and transport advice on a wide range of urban development projects, including major retail and hospitality developments, residential land divisions, schools/educational institutions and Development Plan and Code Amendments. He also planned and delivered major streetscape upgrades, as well as precinct and Council wide transport strategies for walking, cycling, public transport, local area traffic management and parking.

Technical Officer | Cirqa Pty Ltd

Jeremy Bayly commenced employment with CIRQA in March 2018 while completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Structural) at the University of Adelaide. He previously worked at the City of Charles Sturt gaining experience in traffic engineering and road design.

He provides design, planning and analysis inputs on a wide variety of projects including schools, residential land divisions, child care centres, industrial developments, parking and access designs and turn paths for residential townhouses and units.

Jeremy is skilled in the use of AutoCAD for the design of roads, paths, parking and loading areas and is proficient in the use of vehicle tracking software. He also has expertise in the use of SIDRA software for intersection analysis and modelling.

Graduate Traffic Engineer | Cirqa Pty Ltd

B.Eng (Civ)

Aaron Hesse commenced employment with CIRQA in July 2021 as a Graduate Traffic Engineer. He graduated Adelaide University in 2019 after completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil & Structural).

Aaron is experienced in the use of AutoCAD for the design of roads, paths, parking and loading areas and is proficient in the use of Vehicle Tracking software, as well as SIDRA Intersection modelling software. He also has sound understanding of the Australian Standards 2890 ‘Parking Facilities’ and suite of Austroads Guidelines, and is developing knowledge of PlanSA’s ‘Planning and Design Code’.

Aaron has provided design, planning and technical analysis inputs on a wide variety of projects including child care centres, residential and commercial land divisions, industrial developments, parking and access designs and turn path assessments for both residential and commercial developments.
